Here at Lost Car, we want you to fall in love with our gear, so of course meeting your expectations is always our top priority! If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we will gladly return any unworn, un-embroidered, or unaltered items within 30 days of the original purchase date (with the exception of any Front of House and Outerwear, or 86’d items- see note below). PROMOTION AND SALE ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE BUT CAN BE EXCHANGED IF THE SIZE IS INCORRECT AND THE ITEMS ARE NOT EMBROIDERED.

 

Oops! So, you purchased an item and it’s too big or too small. Not to worry! As long as it hasn’t been worn, embroidered or altered (hemmed, etc.), contact us by emailing HELLO@LOSTCARCHEF.COM, (make sure your order number is in the subject line) and we’ll gladly email you a return authorization number and you can ship your garments back to us, at your expense. Next, go ahead and purchase the new item, and we’ll refund your money for the original purchase once we receive your original unworn, and UN-EMBROIDERED item(s). Sorry, but we don’t refund the initial shipping cost.

 

Please note if you are returning, once the items are received in-house, they will be reviewed for signs of use or wear. The product(s) must be in re-sellable condition, with original tags intact, or you will be notified and no refund will be issued and product will be returned to you. We will not accept the return or exchange of any item which shows signs of use or wear, including but not limited to:

  • Stains or other markings
  • Laundering
  • Alterations (including in-house hemming)
  • Odors, including smoke
  • Pet hair

 

Once we receive your returned item(s), please allow 5 business days for processing, and an email alerting you of your credit for future purchases for the full amount or a restocking fee of 25% will apply to items purchased. Refunds less restocking fee will reflect 1-3 business days to your original form of payment once approved. You can choose a refund or gift card!

 

If you paid using a gift card, a new gift card in the amount of the credit will be issued and emailed to you accordingly.

 

All personalized embroidered products (coats, aprons, shirts, etc.) are FINAL sale. This INCLUDES any free embroidered Lost Car Logos added at time of purchase. Please be sure to check our size charts (which are different for each individual product and located on every product page) before placing your order.

 

Please note- all items from our Front of House and Outerwear line will be subject to a 25% restocking fee upon approval of return. These items must be received in house 20 days from purchase date in order to be refunded.

 

All items from our 86’d category, ONLINE SALES EVENTS and Surplus Boxes are final sale. We may exchange for another size, but that is based on availability, stock levels, etc., and is at the discretion of returns department.
